Starting off as a new player in the coal (Coking & Thermal) trading business, Lotus has since entrenched itself firmly in the field of coal trading and over the years has also branched out into related commodity sourcing and distribution including in other commodities like coke, manganese ore and iron ore etc. Lotus is also since diversified beyond raw materials and has branched into grains i.e wheat, beans, rice and crude or refined edible oils in bulk or containers.
